Alloy protection help

Ok not retro(or even mtb :roll: ) in the slightest but if anyone can help it'll be here

I'm fitting nokon cables to a new tri bike build and they are known for the alloy housings to corrode and look a bit tatty after a while. Any suggestions for protection, car wax on something?

trouble with that is , if its rubbing the alloy , it will rub off any coatings you put on , because the cable is allways moving
