I had to look several times, does appear to have carbon fibre tubes and rear triangle. I spent more time looking at the wheels what’s with the circles on the braking surface, front is the same?

Not seen that before! What a lot of work compared to just buying lighter wheels. I wonder if the bike originally had some higher grade components. I guess with the carbon you’ve got to go for ultimate lightness even if you might “brake” through!
