a tip for running V's on the back of 90's konas

Received my '94 Kilauea (that i grabbed for a song - US$120) just a few minutes ago and found the rear V-brake routing to be a rather original effort. The previous owner used an older style rear cantilever cable housing stop in reverse (see pic).

Beyond that does anyone have one of the old Kona cable routing collars they'd care to part with? For all this talk of how to adapt a V-brake I'd actually like to return the rear to a canti.

a little bit of creativity - it feels ok, though i've not ridden on it yet.

cog hog has a lower overall height than a v-brake noodle, and with the pulley, also runs a bit smoother. it certainly feels like it's reduced the dragging messiah described when attempting this routing
