A "Retro" race category!

yeah, grand idea.

Sure some of the US guys will be along to tell us about keysville and the calackity (sp) cup or whatever it is...
 
I disagree with this . If I was racing retro, I d rather be classed with everybody .

Same here - besides, it's not as if riding a "retro" bike is in any way a handicap (in my opinion anyway). Certainly not for XC at least...
The fact that I'm decidedly "retro" has more influence on the result than what I might choose to ride :cry:

My thoughts too. Plus I already do race with the modern rubbish. And finish in front of quite a few of them. steady improvement each race. Its not what you ride its fittness/skill that have it. :D
 
That is a good point James . i did not see it from that angle .

There is a project of a retro DH race in the summer at Pra Loup for the World Master championship .
