Just a quickie, Im fully aware of the Post a price on your sale ad rule, however Im wondering how does that stand with items that the owner doesnt have an idea of price for (and cannot easly find an idea of price due to rarity)
I fully agree with the rule in order to do away with everything turning into an auction via PM's
Ive just read a thread regarding an old GT where the seller, once they realised there was a bit of interest, asked people to make offers openly by posting on the thread. Instead of covertly PM'ing offers.
So without using ebay, so an item can be guaranteed to go to a forum user and avoid ebays tax, how can one sell a rare item on these forums for the best price as set by the community members?
For example, would it be ok to pick a overly large sale price out of thin air and ask for offers to be posted below?
