As ever, there's a frame I'd like but the seller won't ship internationally. Would someone in the US be willing to receive it & forward it for me?

oh go on, it's a realy nice frame... :D

i've said it repeatedly...

sure. i'll facilitate, but i will not risk my own funds. you buy, pay, ship to me. i re-address, not re-package, and get an international shipping quote from the carrier of your choice. you send me funds, i ship to you.

bid to win!

unless it comes in a 108" length + girth frame box to you (or whoever else) you will have to find or build a small enough box and repackage it to ship it USPS. shipping it UPS or FedEx would not make much sense as it is probably more expensive than the frame itself. if the buyer would swallow that sum he could likewise ask the seller to take it to his bike shop and let them do packaging and shipping.

the other point to sort out with the seller before the auction ends is if buyer's credit card or paypal address may be different than the shipping address. many sellers do NOT agree to that as they would not have paypal protection. it happened to me once that my credit card was frozen.

i have helped out many many times and in most cases it went fine but i had a few problems (like stuff arrived damaged) and one "good buddy" out there still owes me a nice sum hence i am very hesitant now to offer such help. plus it always takes a few hours to re-package and ship...

frame from the USA ...

Hey Guys. I'm bidding on a frame from the US and its "ship to the USA only" ... all was looking fine but my cousin in Houston has gone off line ! due to current weather issues and I need an address to send to if cousin doesn't reply soon. You probably know what its like I'm a little fixated so would hate to not be able to bid at the end. Any of you guys able to help me out ? I'm happy to reimburse for any time spent receiving and reposting to me in NZ. cheers Fellas (I'll pay everything paypal pre sending etc)
