Along similar lines . . y'know when you make gas in the bath, if it were possible to listen to the 'bloop bloop bloop' without laughing, reckon that would light?
I know the smell is less aggressive when filtered through water but am wondering if the flammable content is reduced too...

my dad did similar years ago
he aworked for a fruit and veg merchant so allways had a good supply of cabbage and sprouts for fuel so could pop them out at will
anyway one day he decided to fart into a 5 litre plastic container with a air tight lid then put it in the airing cupboard for a few days to ferment
when his mate popped over he got mum to distract him while he put it in the boot of his car with lid off
he nearly added sick to it as it smelt so bad
then went back inside like nothing happened
2 hours later friend went to leave and went a touch green on entering the car
look on his face was epic
amused me loads at the time and still does
