sorry gibble me old china,it is bronze age and came from a settlement near the hopton bypass well known bronze age site and was used for ceremonial purposes,there are several similar ones in gressenhall in the pre history collection

It might have been . . .. well.. perhaps not as it's known now but an earlier one..

come to think of it on my ordnance survey there is an ancient track marked to hopton and it is still there on the opposite side of the field ver overgrown now but with an avenue of ancient trees lining it :shock:
