Just going through a folder tonight, and came across some old photo's of a couple of my bikes. The first picture, is from about 1992, and shows my Carrera Quattro Comp. It had Shoktech forks, mavic bottom bracket and headset, Campag Stheno's on Campag hubs, XT components, Zoom bars, stem and seatpost and Orange rambar barends. This was my first real MTB, and i bought it new from Halfords and upgraded it.
The next photo is from about 95/96, and shows my Marin Ultimate Ti. It was built up with Pace RC35's, XTR front mech, rear mech, cantis and Sti's. Royce ti bottom bracket, Campag Atak on XTR rear, Ringle front. USE ti seatpost, Avocet saddle, Middleburn chainset, Syncros stem, Renthal bars and Onza ti barends. Notice my name on the top tube? I bought this bike off Dan Rodriguez, who was the team rider for Sshokwave in Nottingham. I loved this bike and regret selling it.
