A bad days polishing

Had a really shit day so done a little sprucing up of some bits laying about the place. .

Don't think they look too bad, all things considered. . far from finished but I don't have any of the 'right kit' here..

What have you used?

I have. . .

pieces of 180 grade gray coloured 'sand' paper
some old bits of 1500 wet'n'dry
an old tube of G3 regular cutting paste
a strip of bridle leather.

and some rags to wipe the fingerprints off...

Not sure what to get to achieve the final 'zing'

Good old autosol polish works great or brasso or even better Good old fashioned t.cut and mechanical assistance :shock:

The 180 is kinda odd. . .doesn't feel like 180... dunno where it come from either, the rough surface is light grey..

But yeah.. 180 to 1500.. used what ever I had

Th G3 would do the t-cut thing..

I picked up some Autosol the other day but put it back down because I didn't feel like paying a fiver for it at the time..

Used to sort the shiny bits on me old motorbike with wire wool and autosol..

I polished the rims on my jag wheels with brasso and wire wool :shock: don't tell anyone though as I used a tea towel to remove the muck and my wife has not noticed yet :shock:
