I bought this nice little Marin some while ago as a plan to get my other half onto a bike and also because I remember myself wanting one of these b.i.t.d. Sadly it has sat in the shed for several years now other than the very occasional outing and so the time has come for it to find a new home.
I think its the 1998 model but happy to be corrected.
It is in pretty original condition - STX RC group other than STX chaniset and front mech. Forks are "Marin Tuned" RST381s and work fine. Wheels are STX RC hubs, DT spokes on Mavic X138 rims. Marin branded stem, seatpost and 6061 riser bars. Everything works well and it is a suprisingly light bike thanks to the 7000 series alu frame.
The only bad bit is that the lacquer on the frame has gone a bit crazed in places but it doesn't look too bad, the decals are still decent and it is a very shiny bike !
Its a size "small" frame and measurements are seat tube 16" C-C, 17 1/2" C-T, top tube 22" C-C.
I can change the saddle from the WTB Speed She if required and the pedals are not included although I can fit some new plastic VP ones if you like.
It would be good it goes to someone on here rather than Ebay so looking at £125 + post.
