Not faked by me
Lotus Aluminium frame and forks. Included is the headset, seatpost and binder.

Bought this with another bike thinking Mrs E_R would like it, but she wants to have decent suspension and this will only suit an older low travel fork, (and personally I think the rigid suits it well) so need to sell on.

The frame/fork combo is very light and in good condition with no dents or cracks and paintwork is generally quite good. Bad points, ive pictured the worst scratches, the mech hanger is very very slightly bent and the frame number has been stamped over. I bought it in good faith and i'm convinced the previous owner did too who had owned it for many years. I'm quite sure it was stamped over when whichever owner decided to put the Specialized stickers on.

this looks very much like an old claude butler i had. 7005 aluminium if i remember correctly? when you bought it did it have any parts on it?

It is a Lotus, no doubt about it, and it is very light indeed, aluminium forks too

Here is another (not mine or the one for sale)

Are the stickers just on the surface (ie will they scrub off )? Looks like a nice frame :)

Think it's a bit short for me really, but just wondered...

The stickers are on top, should come off no bother, although I can't for the life of me think why you would want to take them off
