91 Specialized Stumpjumper

I finally got around to building this 30 year old Stumpy. I recorded video of it for my youtube channel but I still need to edit. Hopefully I can post it on Sunday.

Are you talking about the Hite Rite or the seatpost clamp? It came with the Specialized clamp. I added the Hite Rite. Found NOS in package on ebay.

My clamp was very rusty too. Soak it in white vinegar over night and then use a wire brush to scrub off the rust.

I tried that thanks, with acetic acid, but it was too far gone. The rust came off and revealed blacked steel under the chrome. This is before I started...
