9/10 Speed

Currently working on a build and want to keep the components black. Ive got a pair of Shimano xt m770 9 speed shifters and looking to keep the xt theme going. However struggling to find an all black rear derailleur. Shimano do an XT 10 speed rear derailleur in black, but would it be compatible with 9 speed? Is it just a matter of setting the limit screws?

10spd Shimano MTB is not compatible with 9spd MTB

However, 10spd shimano road can do 9 & 10

which is really irritating

There is black 9spd Deore and SLX though

Thanks, yeah really wanted the xt. Might have to start painting haha
