Why don't you take 9/10 speed and respace a 9 speed cassette? Works for me.

Mostly as I have a number of 8 speed cassettes and no 9 speed

All my other bikes have gone straight from 8 to 10.

Also really hard to find polished 10 speed hubs for reasonable cost.
