I'm fixing my neighbours bike up for him at the moment. It's an early 90's scott boulder in very good condition as I mentioned in a previous post..
I've rebuilt it but can't get the shifters to work at all and the adjuster is missing from the right hand shifter so thats never going to work well.
It's got lx 7 speed rapidfire shifter/brake lever combo on it at the moment, brakes are cantis so thats adds to the 'hard to get factor'. Just missed a pair on ebay last night.
So I'm after either a set of lx 7 speed rapidfire shifters/canti brake levers which appear to be very hard to find - any ideas where I can get them.
Other option is to buy some 7 speed shifters and some canti brake levers. I've found some suitable shifters but can anyone recommend some canto brake levers? I'm doing it for him as a favour so not charging and don't want to spend too much.
