68mm bb shell lockring? (Hope Ti)

The BB was bought on eBay and the seller stated it needs lockrings. I have emailed Hope to ask if they have any info or still have stock of the lockrings.

Yours is 117mm (from another thread)

If you cannot find one then any lock-ring should work, I would think, as the thread is standard.

Anyone know why these wider one need lock-rings, is it the extra torque on the bearing causing extra rocking or grip on the casing and so allowing it to gradually twist.
Or is it just because the shorter ones if they had lock-rings would interfere with the super-low-profile style crank arms ?

Its listed by the seller as 112 x 68. So Im hoping that will work ok with the m'burn duo's.

Bump on Fluffy's question:

I got my Hope BB today. Cleaned it up and popped it in the frame to see how things fit. Its only a tad longer than the frame BB shell so theres no way Im getting lock rings on it. Im also worried the cranks will foul the seatstay's now...

When the XC duos gt here I'll check.

112  , well they're not suppose to use lockrings according to the catalouge scans.

(also I'm sure I posted to this with some more details, but hey ho my battery must have ran out before managed to post)

Its actually 113 having just measured it.

Thanks for confirming 'no-lockring'. I'll put a tiny drop of threadlock on just to be sure. :)

That was another part of my missing post, they didn't make a 112 so it was probably a 113 :D
