"Recommended For a 6 footer or above only - this is a large frame"

I made this from a Zeus badged frame as a run around, and after my usual "Parbold Hill" 32mile test run it passed it's test so well it became apparent that it was too good to be used as a hack. A very smooth ride indeed, hill eater, compact & solid yet comfortable to ride this is a serious bike for those who prefer quality over looks. I've now done around 200miles on this bike & I know this bike will be a trusty steed on long hauls, you can feel it . You get a feel for certain bikes and this has definately caught me by surprise as being "much better than 1 might expect".

Aluminium frames are out of my knowledge range, but from what information I can gleen off the web and in here, it has all the hallmarks of a Cannondale type frame. I use the Cannondale brand to emphasise it's ride qualities & style/feel not to boost its "brand value". All bikes need some kind of benchmark and that is the closest I can find after lots of talking & listening :-) Sadly I've found it impossible to ID 100% the frame builder / supplier but am almost certain Zeus/Orbea did not actually make this type of bike, but bought them in and re-badged them. I don't know enough about aluminium tubing specs to name the tubing, hence this long post :-)

I'm making this long appraisal so that anyone interested can judge "how the bike will feel & respond". It's not in my nature to sell a duffer / bad runner because it looks good. Bottom line is that "I'd happily do the upcoming London 2 Paris on this without a second thought or qualm, if I didn't already have too many bikes". Hope this gives a good idea of what's on offer :-)

"Please note : the brake pads/shoes will need replacing in the next 200-300 mile or so as will the tyres. The tyres have a decent tread on them but the rear has a small repaired split from glass. They are also quite old and show it (probably been stood standing for a good while before I got them). I've used the tyres safely but a change after a good test run wouldn't go amiss. The brake pads & shoes can be bought off a guy on ebay for £20 per pair. Not cheap I know, but the Dia Compe Gran Compes are a beautiful brake caliper that function very well. I paid the man to renew 1 of my other sets because I felt they where worth it." Your alternative would be another set of Shimano 105's for about £20 - £30

Price = £225 to your door (postage has been marked as £25 = £200 for the bike)
