I've stripped serviced, cleaned and rebuilt this rather nice Motobecane with some lovely parts. Personally I think it's all come together very nicely very traditional looking. And in all honesty it rides like a dream, relaxed and smooth even better than I expected.
Size is 60cm (ct) X 57cm (cc)
The frame is straight and true and the paint is generally extremely good, reminds me very much of a Salsa. Unfortunetly the previous owner replaced the rear gear cable but it was too short so to compensate he moved the old band on gear shifters down but he didn't unclamp it properly and scratched both sides of the downtube in the process. Numpty! Still doesn't detract from the overall condition of the bike.
Built as a 1x7 with a SR 48t chainset its ideal commuter or town type bike. I've fitted new saddle, seatpost, tape and cables aswell as replace almost every part with quality items from my spares box.
I'm going to advertise it here just for the weekend as I need to get these things sold.
Now on Ebay.
