4 years old?????

Just stumbled across this marin for sale on Ebay but the ad says 4 years old. I'm a bit new to this but surely this is 15 years old-ish??

You're not wrong, no way is that either 4 years old or £850 when new. Fairly low rent spec on a solid frame but I think the excitement of eBay has gotten away with him.

think that model was around 95/96, would have been around 450ish rrp if memory serves.

looks to be in good nick though, and judging by the name, a female seller, which would explain the small-ish frame size and (sorry ladies) lack of knowledge regarding size/spec/age etc

I'm guessing also the aluminium part maybe incorrect due to the lightness they appear to have got confused..on quite a few things

Indeed! We certainly never see poorly listed frames from men, much less those with seller names like "MachoCowboyCop."

But really, why assume that "TinkerFairyRose" is a lady? This is the internet, remember!
