Just wondering who made/make 1 1/8th 395mm rigid ahead rim brake forks? Don't suppose any v. light or carbon?

From what I've seen most all early chromoly rigid forks were 395 to 405. Should be easy to find a Tange, Tioga Big Fork, Spinner, Aperbic or something along those lines. I have a decent quantity of GT Bologna Lites in Black and Mirror Titanium paint finishes and I think most of these are 405 but I'll get the tape out and see if any are 395. Exotic makes a 405 in carbon and aluminum. To find 395 it's almost gotta be something from 91-92 era before front suspension was on everything.

Ed,
I just checked and the pic above of the single fork with the yellow decal is a GT Bologna Lite (made in 92) and is 395mm axle to crown and weighs 29.1 ounces (825g). Triple butted 27-19mm tapered blades with 188mm chromoly steerer. I've been hoarding these. Have 15 now. 12 in black, one in yellow and two in mirror titanium don't come along in NOS very often. Like I said above, I think almost anything from 91-2 will be 395 after that though it's a toss up probably almost anything of better quality is 405 or longer depending upon the maker and who spec'd the fork as original equipment.

Pace would have made you a set of their carbon RC31s in any length, up until they sold up to DT.

I have seen 2 pairs of custom ones crop up on ebay. Who knows, Pace may even have some left...

Pace RC30s are 395mm I beleive, they come up fairly regularly on ebay if you keep your eye out.

I think RC31s are longer than that...
