27.0mm seatposts

I need a new black seatpost 27.0mm. Any recommendations on which one to buy around £20-30

Seen a few 27.0 seatposts Tioga t-bone? Ritchey comp v2?.

All the seatposts I do like are 27.2mm

They don't come along very often, but syncros are nice and available in that size

As far as I can remember, It's in good nick, has one zig zag scratch from being inserted but this is probably below the line that you'll need.

Bought it off here, never used it, you can have it for what I payed - £28 posted.

I bought a new Ritchey Comp one for my Kilauea and I think it looks the part.

I needed to adjust my seating position on an old kona steelie a while ago, so decided on a Thomson Elite layback. Only trouble was, they come on 27.2... so I meticulously rubbed the ribbing down on area that sits inside the frame. It fits like butter, and to look at, you'll never know.

Opens up possibilities ;-)

Also, Thomson ones come up occasionally on eBay and on here in 27.0 from time to time. Usually about £35.

or get a thinner post and a shim, e.g. USE

But first you need to decide it you want in-line, layback or a slight layback (syncros is a slight layback). then look under that.

I agree with the shim idea, but make sure that the shim goes below the tube junction at the top. Konas have a long bit of seat tube hanging out unsupported and there have been horror photos on this site of ones cracking on the top of the weld. It might be unrelated, but not worth the chance.

I have a black 27.0 Kore (the Easton made version) that is in great shape. There are a few insertion marks, but they are pretty far down as I had it in a Kona that was a size too small for me.
