Wanted 26" QR Disc Compatible 100-120mm Fork Straight Steerer

Hello all,

Recently purchased an Avalanche Expert frame on here and looking for a suspension fork for it.

26" Wheels / QR / Disc compatible and either a 100mm or 120mm fork with a straight steerer.

Ideally I'd like a set of white Fox forks as always wanted them on my old Avalanche when I was younger but never had the funds for them. No idea how much they sell for now but ideally I want to spend £100 at the most. Not against spending more but not by a huge amount. Will also consider Rockshox and Marzocchi forks too.

Let me know what you have, ideally with pictures.

Thanks :)

I have a set of rockshox reba in white. Look exactly the same as the side above, as they share the same chassis. Long steerer at around 230mm. Vgc. Later version than the above sids with blue decals. If blue isn't your thing I've got various did decals in many colours.

The difference between the Sid and the reba is the damper, and to be totally honest, I can barely tell the difference in use, and even when I've stripped and serviced the two, and I've done many as they are my go to forks generally and I've stripped, serviced, rebuilt and even built many from scratch, it's only when you get to the top end ti dampers, there's any physical differences in the parts.

If the rebas are of interest, let me know. I can dig them out and send some pics.

I'd certainly be interested in a pair of Reba's. Pictures and a price would be appreciated.

I only said Fox mainly due to Rose tinted, window shopping nostalgia based on cosmetics and desire. I rode bikes on the more budget side with Suntour forks or Rockshox Tora so anything that level and above is as suitable to be fair.

Same here bitd, I couldn't afford anything good so had to resort to buying and repairing or servicing things to get that leg up into good stuff. To be fair, it's by doing that I learned so much about bike building, servicing etc. I wince at the prices I see for what I view as simple tasks,,let alone things like fork servicing, hydraulic brake bleeding and servicing. Yes, the right tools cost a bit up front, but do a couple of jobs using them and they've paid for themselves, and you have some fun doing it.

I'll try to grab some pics tomorrow.

Some pics, it's a bit dusty but I'll happily clean up and take more pics. I have the remote lockout lever just not pictured. I could probably switch it to a crown dial lockout damper if I've got one stashed away.
