This thread is rather timely as a mate has just bought an Altus 531 for me to build up for him. He's going to need a seatpost as well.

It's not a great picture, but here's a recent-ish one.

I've owned the bike since new, and it's pretty much as standard, complete with Biopace chainrings etc!

What are they? Is the one at the back the 653 model?

I always wished mine was something more exotic, but it's still a nice riding bike, and it looks good. I don't ride it much nowadays as I have problems with my fingers going numb (I ride recumbents instead) but have taken it out for a few short spins recently.

Yes, it's an Athena 653 which I've recently popped together. I'll get some pics up when it's finished!
