25" Raleigh 531C F & F - collect E.Yorks £35

I`ve had this for a few years & it has been a winter frame for me last year. I had it blasted & powder coated in a gunmetal finish which has proven pretty tough. I coated the inside of the tubes with waxoyl to protect it. It has a few nicks here & there & a scuff on the tt but would be ideal to do similar service for you. Headset & BB are fine. It has m/g eyes & you might just manage 28mm tyres - I used 700c wheels with no problem. £35 collected.

Re:

Hi Julian did you need deep drop brakes when using 700c wheels and can I ask the gap between the rear dropouts thanks Bill.

Re:

Hi Julian, my questions were very relevant to me buying your fame and I've been waiting patiently for my answer. I see from watching your user stats that you've viewed the site three times since I posted. Now I don't know your circumstances but do wonder, did I say something wrong? Bill

Re:

Hello Bill - apologies for not spotting replies, but in terms of brakes I had some old Weinmanns on which were actually not too bad. I don`t think they`d be termed deep drop when they were produced, I think you`d be able to use more modern dual pivots if you wanted - I`ll try & measure up for you if you`d like.
