22" dawes 531 pick up 86 model?

these frames are very hit & miss as to how they ride, my greatly missed mystery rode very well considering the length of the rear stays whereas others I've had have been very 'flat' with no feedback or feel. Would make a nice bike rebuilt.

It's an 86 model they only came in a 20 and a 22 size sold for £380 the same as a ridgeback 531,kind of strange when the ridgeback had 18 gears,if you bought the ranger model for £420 you got 15 gears.
I'm on the lookout for a bike from this era mainly for spares but something 20" or larger could be of interest
