2011 Rocky Mountain 29 SE

After racing my first XC races last fall I decided I need a XC rig. Got a great deal on a new Vertex 29. Will be building it up as a 9 speed with a One Ghost carbon fork. Chromag and Thomson parts. Hope to be rolling on this one in the next few weeks. Miss the feel of 29 wheels.

Re:

The bike is shaping up nicely. Super light. Real curious how light it will be when finished.

Re:

i'm looking forward to see it finish... I'm very curious about this vertex

1x10?
1x10, mech. discs, dropbar... could be an interesting gravel...

Re:

The build went well and took it out for a high country climb to one of my favorite peaks Thunder Mountain in the San Gabriel Mountains at 8500 feet. Quick climber! Not sure I will keep the One Ghost carbon fork.
