Here for sale is my 18" Stumpy S-Works Hardtail in team colours.
I bought this frame new back in 2003 from Bike Scene in Guisborough and built it into an ultralight bike. I then sold it to a pal in 2008 who had always dribbled when he saw it. He owned it for a couple of years then I bought it back recently (as a full bike) to restore.
However I have since aquired another frame that Im working on so want this to go to a good home.
The frame does have the odd mark and scuff along with a bit of owld chain suck rash but these marks have been touched in and in general Id say the frame was very good considering it has been used. Theres no dents or dings and all threads are fine. Could probably do with a good machine polish or hard elbow grease to buff most of the surface scuffs out.
Main marks shown in pics include:
chain suck
fine scuffs to top of toptube from cables
scuff to underside of toptube from bike carrier
....all of which have been touched in as can be seen in pics.
Im also including the Thompson seatpost and clamp in the sale as I bought it new.
These frames are quite rare now and have HUGE weight weenies potential!
Frame has both disc and canti mounts (canti mounts cannot be seen in pic as they have been unscrewed but I have them here should you need them).
This sale is for frame, Thompson seatpost and clamp ONLY (as it was purchased factory new back in 2003).
