2003 ellsworth shock length eye to eye??? Anyone know

My friend has acquired an old 2003 Ellsworth Truth frame and the shock that is on it is a 165mm e to e...The rocker arm brace is hitting the back of seat tube as soon as loaded! I think the frame needs a longer shock???? Anyone know about these?

Freeborn in Horsham is the only dealer in the uk for Ellsworth

They should be able to tell u

Think they were 190mm eye to eye poss same as my joker

how strange the reducer specs is saying 165mm eye to eye :facepalm:

something is not right with this frame! I suspect a possible frankenstein of frame parts. In 2004 the Truth frame went to a longer shock 200mm eye to eye and i am wandering if this was a late 03 early 04 :?

Early ones were 165mm, but they did swap to longer later on so you may be right.

Have you tried emailing serial number and pics and asking Ellsworth?
