Well I myself could have used this earlier this year, but couldn't find any so I had to built my own
But if you happen to have an older frame that takes 1" steerer, however you don't also happen to both work at a machine shop AND find a BAM-type fork with a bolt-on steerer, this could be your solution. Actually I'd suggest this as a solution anyway, although the price is a bit steep. But if it's the only one out there right now (and for a long while actually) beggars can't really be choosers I suppose, tho I'd imagine making an offer can't hurt
