2002-03 Kona 16" Explosif frame

Hi Chris,
I,ve got a 02,but it's too big.It's true temper ox platinum and very light,with a lovely lively,springy ride.It also has the (hourglass?),curvy stays.
I've also got an old Hahanna,which is where it all began,so I'm kind of oldskool-short P2's and a flat bar-but I'll equippe the bike with modern components.
I do feel that Kona have gone downhill since the days of JM.
But I'm only after a frame that I've used and and more than happy with.
Jez's frame does look nice,but my concerns are with weight and compatability with my components-namely,the threadless 1 1/8mm headset,my P2's and my integrated crankset.

some one please do correct me if im wrong, but all of those items should go on Jez's frame.
+ Jez's frame is quite clearly from the year where kona's were just looking at their peak...that colour.
+ if you buy Jez's frame it may stop me thinking of ways to trade my over size (for me) 19" 93 explosif with z-links in order to get Jez's frame.

All those bits should fit on the '94 explosif no problem. And the tange prestige tubeset is way cooler than the OX stuff 
It rides fantastic - for me better than the reynolds and true temper frames I've owned.
Got the same on my '95 hot - the ribbed downtube, external butting...mmmm

I've got to agree. Tange Prestige tubes and the Ritchey derivatives thereof have got to be some of the best frame pipes ever produced. I'm pretty confident that an earlier Prestige Explosif is lighter than a newer OX Platinum version.
