I have had these from virtually new and know there background, they are the first Mavic Crossmax Disc wheelset
They are tubeless compatible and even to the day an excellent set of durable but lightweight disc wheels
The mavic website description follows ~ CrossMax UST Disc: 24 Zircal spokes front and rear, crossing pattern, integrated IS disc mounts, FORE rim drilling, 800g front, 930g rear, UST tubeless compatible, FTS L hub loses 40 g, disc only with no brake track on the rim
Over the years the wheels have seen little use, always kept them as "best" and then never got round to using them, they are the more sort after all black wheels as opposed to most of the later wheelsets that were all silver
The matt black flat bladed spokes have the odd scratch but all are perfectly straight, the rims are generally very good, the worst to scratches I have highlighted, other than these there are very few marks and certainly no dings
Both wheels are perfectly true, bearings are nice and smooth and freewheel engagement faultless
Will come with matching Mavic QR's.just couldn't find the rear when I took the pictures but I'm sure I know where it is
