2001 GT i-drive 1.0 - Front Mech Size

Hi folks

I've just bought a 2001 GT i-drive 1.0 frame from longun (belonged to BarneyRubble before that). So roughly measuring the little tube that the front mech mounts on, it looks to be about 31mm.

So would I be right in assuming I need a 31.8 front mech. Also, it is bottom pull, right?

I've got a virtually new one off that bike's predecessor. It's STX RC though, but works perfectly. Let me know if you want it....£12 posted?

Thanks for the offer Barney, but I've already got a mech that looks like it should fit.
