hi
interest in the silver alfine.

these are for 135 rear spacing frames ?
are they V brake specific or can they work with disc brakes.

I confess I do not see what you mention as missing ?
any pic of the part ?

and I dare ask a silly question of an ignorant in such hubs
these can be build on regular frames with mech hanger or do they need "horizontal dropouts" to adjust for chain length , or does it need chain tensioneer such as the rohloff you sell ?
if it were the case, interest in the tensionner too

finally how many teeth has the cog and with which front ring would it be advisable to build ? would expect a ratio 36/18 to be a sort of middle point where you would have easier ratio on the upside and tougher on the downside ?

thanks

They can be used with V-brakes or Centerlock discs, you'll need horizontal drop outs, or a chain tensioner if you have a conventional frame.
They're 135 mm
The missing part is seen in the pic here.

roy you tempt me
the part on the upper lefthandside on you last picture is present on the black one but missing on the silver one ? is it indispensable ? - it is the gear cable stop ?
and as you mentionned the cog protector is also not there for the silver. Can it be spared ? is it a luxury or not ?
