For sale: 1999 Kona Explosif 16”. Reynolds 853 frame in stunning phantom grey metallic paint. Kona Project 2 forks (normal drop outs, not BMX style). Currently shod with Scwalbe City Jet 2” slicks for summer commuting duties after theft of my usual commuter and now reluctantly decided to sell. I intended to build this up into a large BMX but never found the time, so it remained a slightly eclectic mix of parts from previous bikes or purchases as stop gaps. I would consider selling as frame and forks subject to a reasonable offer.
The frame is near immaculate (a couple of scuffs and stone chips) and the whole bike is consistent with light use. I've only done about 1,000 miles on her.
