I've never seen on with the track dropouts...might go high if it comes up, then again, maybe not.

Don't think it ever made it into Production  Prototype is the word in the article..

Whilst not the same I know, a singulator and a regular Homegrown frame might do the job?

ahhhhh...I should've read the article

true, though I would go with a Paul singulator thing, the name slips my mind, and run two rings in the front. If I can't get the clean look and tight feel, I would like some additional function out of it.

That would work but if you want to do it right get a white Industries Eno Hub. Something like you see here http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/bik/1261102022.html
i wonder where that prototype is?

good suggestion and question...hmmmm, perhaps we should make a thread about this bike in the chat forum, and see if someone turns up with it.

Woah, real Grave Digger this one...

hmmm, with a few decals and removal of the replaceable dropout...and of course the parts pictured in the article above, witht he addition of an eno rear hub...and you'll be really close to the prototype.
