I've decided to put my old ParkPre ALU Max right (back to period parts).
Currently sporting shimano HONE, which was fun at the time, but I've obviously seen the light as the ParkPre's seem pretty rare. (image links fixed)
So now I am after a bit of advice:
While I have a few of the original parts, I'd like to built it as I would have at the time if I'd had the money. That means XTR M950/951.
I would love some Pulstar hubs, but those seem a bit hit and miss, quality wise.
I am however looking at the cranks in particular - the XTR ones of the period seem to have a high number of teeth, and I am worried that I can not get hold of replacement rings.
Would I be better off with a period Race Face crank, perhaps?
