1997/98 Klein Attitude Comp

TBH, I only finished putting it together yesterday and apart from riding it around the block to check the gears and suspension setup it hasn't been ridden yet. It's destined to be a garage queen, but I've always wanted a Klein and for the price I couldn't resist. The frame looks almost unused, the only marks look like storage accidents. I could have fitted a full retro groupset in keeping with the age of the frame but prefer the look and function of the newer stuff, same with the wheels. Forks were my biggest challenge, needed something with V brake mounts and in as good a condition as the frame, luckily the Manitous were available and just needed a rebuild (I had Mach 5sx forks on my Trek 8000 from '96 so had worked on that type before) I removed the boots for a more updated look as I'd done to the old mach 5's. The bars are Easton Havoc DH spec carbon, they were 730mm wide when I got them, but significantly narrower now!
