1996 Saracen Tufftrax

Hi, I've set myself a small project to overhaul and rebuild my old Saracen Tufftrax. However I'm struggling to find a replacement headset, can anyone recommend a budget replacement for the Tioga original?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

A 1 1/8th headset should be easy to find. Any bike shop should have them in stock.

That’s great thanks for your help. I’ve also been struggling to find a BB but think I’ve solved that now.

Assuming it's square taper, take the old one out, see what it says on it size wise and chain reaction should have a basic one for about a tenner. I.e. un52 shimano bb, 113 length etc

So my BB search has just got difficult as the supplier messaged to say it’s no longer in stock. I need frame width of 73mm but a spindle width of 123mm for the new chainset.
