1996 LTS, what XTR FD?

I've got a GT LTS which needs a bottom pull 31.8mm front mech. I see the team one came with XTR but what M9** was it? I know for that year it should be a M950/951 but I've been looking for 6 months and not seen anything close. Can some one please shed some light on this.

as far as i recall, the top swing was M950 and the conventional swing M951

i may be wrong though. When they went 9 speed top swing was M952 and conventional M953

i have an M953 on my bike, it shifts beautifully with 8 speed.

I have M950 on the rest of the bike but I'm finding it really hard to find one to fit my bike which made m think maybe they didn't do one. So I could use a M953?
