1996 Kona Explosif

A friend asked if I wanted to buy her 1996 Explosif which has spent the past few years sat in a barn. She suggested I made an offer... any thoughts on what it’s worth? It’s mostly original but needs some work - it would be a nice project!

Nice a few tweaks done to it too, It deffo needs saving check the seatpost moves in the frame.

Not sure on value no more than £200 maybe

Thanks for the tip. I’m buying a bit blind as I’m away with work but didn’t want it to get away. I’ve offered £150 so I’ll see if she accepts it. I was thinking up to £200 was reasonable but it’s difficult without knowing exactly what still works!!!

Looks to have most of its original parts. Doesnt look like its been left outside either so everything should still work, apart from those forks obviously

I would say around the £200 mark as well taking into account the condition, if the frame isnt dented then that would fetch around that on its own.
