but this surprised me a little bit:

correct seatpost size for this frame should be 27,0

It was the matt black bit that surprised me even more! Such poor taste - but when you look at the decals he thinks would improve it after its completely unnecessary and misguided powdercoat, perhaps a matt black seatpost is only to be expected. Somebody save it!

I agree that I can only get a 27.0 in mine, but it will *almost* accept a 27.2. And my 97 Kilauea which I think has the same seat tube is very happy with a 27.2. I think they vary depending on how much reaming each particular one needed.
