1995 Cannondale Super V1000

Recently finished restoring this one. Several hours have gone into this, most of them polishing. It's not original spec, I've gone with XT shifters rather than the gripshift and swapped the LX front mech for an XT one. I believe it should have canti's but gone with Coda v brakes. I'm no Cannondale expert and cant say I have much knowledge on them but always liked the look of V's so when this came up for grabs locally I jumped at it.

Love a Super V. I remember BITD looking at catalogues and they just looked superb. Still want one now

Having polished a 93' M800 BOTE frame & fork I know the level of effort required, well done

Fantastic result and love the build choices.

The CODA branded Dia Compe MK-II brake levers are a favorite of mine but I'm pretty sure they are cantilever only, wondering if you'd be better off with a V-Brake specific brake lever

It came with the brake levers and you are right, a v brake specific one would probably be better but I just like the the look of these ones more. I considered changing them, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. These levers and v brakes are a good compromise I think.
