Could be up for the fsx, the graze looks a bit severe though, is it possible to replace the sliders?

I would have thought so as they can be dismantled. I have a pair of Mag 20's which are 1" and have been swapping the stresses over depending which I need to be 1 1/8" so you could use a slider from a pair of those.

I think the FSX are MAG20 based not MAG21 and don't have the negative travel so the internals are different and iirc the stanchions are shorter on the MAG20. But I don't know the FSX well to say for certain.
I'd be more worried about the air/oil seals though ?
How long have you run them like that with not dust/dirt seal and/or no boots ?

The steerer in the picture doesn't look to be the Alu steerer for sale ?

you are right, just checked the others and they are Mag 20's. When being used they have the Mag 20 boots on so it's not an issue for me.
I use the Mag's on my Klein so need the booties for them.

With the Specialized forks, when they're fully compressed does that scuff get in the way? I didn't think they had that much travel and the scuff is at the top?
