I'm sure you'll find as many people prefer the V's to Canti's, I think the V-brakes look at home on that frame.

Thank you , i loved my first one , great all round xc bike :D it weighs pretty much 26lbs ready to roll so not too heavy or too bouncy , almost like having a big tyre without the drag .
Oh and i did change the judy brace from a canti one :lol:

Went for a little pootle yesterday with the other half and it felt as good as i remember , it feels pretty quick and nimble without any undue bouncing ( from the bike anyway ) not being the same shape as i was in 95 the riding position is a bit of struggle having a short headtube and short travel fork , im desperate not to resort to risers or a high rise stem :facepalm:
