I have a 1994 Kona Cinder Cone for sale. This bike has an 18" frame and comes with the original project 2 fork. Everything else on the bike is original with exception of the wheels and tires. I am asking 90 GBP or best offer for the bike. Seem too good to be true? Well it's not because there are 2 catches (I have to be honest with you):
1. The bike is not in mint condition. The bike is rideable, but there are several scratches on the frame and fork. The bike is not even close to dead, but any serious rider would want to clean up the bike. I originally bought this bike for the fork, but my Kilauea is a 19 inch and the guy I bought it from gave me an incorrect measurement.
2. I live in California. The buyer would have to pay for shipping. I am willing to work with you to find the ideal size shipping box with regards to cost. I have experience and I know that sometimes 2 cm width on the box can cost 50 GBP extra to ship.
This might be a stretch posting on a UK website, but I thought I would give it a try since there are so many fellow Kona faithful on here. If you are interested, reply and I can provide pictures. This is a great chance to take advantage of my weak US Dollar!
Thanks,
-Brian
