Nice bike and spec, looks suspiciously like a Trek carbon frame like a 9800, guess Trek owned Fisher by then (94'ish)?
 
Well, then whoever built it at the factory threw some sparkle at it!

That’s a pretty wild stock setup from back then.

Especially if, like me, you just assumed Trek was always cutting as many corners as it could…

Everytime I see a Trek 9500 full suspension bike (usually dirt cheap if not free) I look at the rear brake. Lots of Paul Crosstops and IRD Widgets went on those. I only bought this bike because it cost less than buying the levers and bakes alone.
