This is our No2 tandem, bought on ebay three years ago for £260.
Mainly original, I have swapped the front brakes to Magura HS22, while the previous owner had already swapped to Deore V's. The cranks are custom machined by Highpath Engineering on some early 90's Shimano for my son. Bars have been swapped to improve comfort.
The rear STX mech was worn and was swapped to an M750 XT.
Frame and fork: Reynolds, fillet brazed. The other tandem is identical and says 531, this one has a 501 transfer!
Gears: Thun chainsets front, DX/300LX custom machined mongrel at the rear. 13-30 cassette
Exage front and M750 XT rear mechs.
Shifters: Gripshift SRT500, 7 speed.
Brakes: Deore V rear, Magura HS22 front
Wheels: STX-SE hubs, Rigida Rally rims, 36 spokes.
On-One Mary bars, Raceface Cadence 120mm stem on ahead converter.
Ritchey Logic headset
Brooks B7 narrow saddle front, Ritchey Vector rear
Nimrod rack rear, Blackburn low-rider front.
