I am culling the massive collection of bikes I have built up since joining RetroBike.
I think I lost the plot, for a while, buying everything that I'd ever seen in a bike shop window.
I bought this bike as a non-runner, in the Autumn.
It is a 1993 Rockhopper Expert 18".
The Suntour 8s freehub had broken pawls and it took me 3 months and £70 to source a replacement unit, from the US.
It's now in perfect condition and rides superbly.
The bike had hardly been used and is in superb condition. It has virtually all its original equipment, apart from the saddle, pedals and brake blocks.
As is always the case on RetroBike, many of you will be thinking, split it and sell the bits, but, as a sentimentalist, it's the last thing I want to.
Anyone interested? £100 plus postage
