1993 Cannondale super V

So this is my acution and I bet this is the same moron that emailed me on ebay accousing me of not disclosing repairs to the frame around the headtbue to downtube junction. You can see that there is a large reinforcing gusset there (under the DT) and the welds are rough, not smooth like other C-dales

To this dbag I say do you effin homework before you go accousing people of crap.

My theory:

Early Super Vs got this gusset as a means of ensuring strength while they refined the design. If you recall this was a radical departure from their previous two years worth of designs and maybe they rushed it bit to get it out to the market.

My evidence:

93 catalog where this gusset is clearly visible on page 7

Pics of other bikes like this, some a bit hard to see:

I hate when uneducated people who weren't around back then make outlandish claims. Banned from my auctions!

 super sorry!
I used to have a 1994 super v (along with many other dales) and have never seen welds like that on a cannondale.

p.s I'm not the moron from ebay (but a moron none the less) but I think a few bidders may hesitate being the only year model super v with that gusset

Sorry for the backlash... the guy that emailed me was a dbag and this showed up moments afterwards, I *assumed* you were him and saw red.

I will add to my item description to educate others about the gusset.

Perhaps you can change your post title from 'dodgy' to 'sweet'??? =)
